Cartman has ascended, and my little Christmas tree is officially deployed for the season.
At Mom's where we've gotten a dusting... maybe a half inch. Dad reports 7" so far and is expecting up to a foot more overnight. Apparently I chose the wrong parent's place for Thanksgiving! #MIwx #LakeEffect #Michigan

Metro Detroiters: never take for granted how clean and perfect your water source is, if it's from the city supply that taps into Lake Huron. My hair and skin feel so clean!

I've got a good mix of Michiganders and mets on BS so far. I make my heritage known to those in my field but for the Detroit sports fans on here, I am a meteorologist in the NWS and public service through science is my whole jam. I credit the Great Lakes and our maritime heritage for my passion.

My heart is full. Took dozens of photos over the last couple weeks as I made my whirlwind tour back home, seeing all my VIPs and doing some of my favorite things. I hit all 5 Great Lakes and probably 20 additional bodies of water. This picture is probably my favorite of it all.
