Only reason why I even made this post was because of my play through of strangers of paradise & lies of p which had me really think about the whole idea of soulslikes and how that term makes people give a more prejudice or biased view to the games, but when you play it you realize what can be done.

These soulslikes honing in on that focus and using to it make something that they enjoyed and maybe wanted to show appreciation for what enjoyed from fromsoft games is what really lets me appreciate what these games do which to me lets them stand side-by-side with fromsoft.(4/4)

The other thing that I really appreciate from these games is just how polished they become from the focus they have which lets be real fromsoft’s biggest weakness is optimization which to me is to be expected with the ambitions they have for each of their games they create.(3/4)

What stands out to me is the combat that each of these games strive to enhance or make into their own that to me makes them really stand on their own in ways that I always hope fromsoft adds to their next game.(2/4)
