For future use, so I posted as is... which is a new thing for me to do. I do wonder; am I being too strict on the projects I work on or not, what do others do in these types of situations? I try to maintain a standard that i can be happy with but sometimes, I should accept perfection isn't possible.

For example, my recent upload was a track that was kinda short but sweet and I thought something was missing (www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsRM... link for reference), Said to myself "I'll comeback to that on another day" and I did... Still didn't like it though, I'd given up on the idea of keeping it...

BUT every-now and then, when I'm cleaning up my drives of all the unfinished work that I have no intent of going back and continuing, I'll take the time to check them out... as mentioned prior sometimes for little bits that I can sample and reuse in another piece or ideas that are worth revisiting.

Often times, I'll end up deleting a fair few of these projects, as I've gotten more comfortable as a musician and composer, I've gotten more selective with my projects, which I dedicate time to, which ones I don't... etc. These are worth keeping because you might like to sample different bits.

You know, I often spend hours or sometimes a few minutes working on various projects. Most of them don't make the cut often times, I'll get so far and comeback another day and think to myself, "why did I even think this was a good idea!" So I have a lot of unfinished/unused projects lying around.

Some further context around this track, sometimes I get nostalgic for a period in time that I never experienced. This phenomenon is often referred to as; "Anemolia" and when I was listening back to it after forgetting about it being on my drive, I felt like it needed to be publish... weirdly.

So little bit of context, Sometimes I get nostalgic for things that I never experienced and anemolia is the term for that... This Sounds unfinished and that's because it is, it's one of the many projects that I start and never finished, this one I just felt needed to be let out, instead of deletion.
