Not been on the water for over 2 weeks, so glad to take advantage of calm & warm conditions this am for a 5 mile trip on the Rivers Tees & Leven - launched from Preston Park. 2 RN Parakeets, 4 Kingfishers, 1 GS Woodpecker, 25 Curlew & 2 Herons.

Not been on the water for over 2 weeks, so glad to take advantage of calm & warm conditions this am for a 5 mile trip on the Rivers Tees & Leven - launched from Preston Park. 2 RN Parakeets, 4 Kingfishers, 1 GS Woodpecker, 25 Curlew & 2 Herons.

Spot of board 🏄♂️ testing today from Croft-on-Tees down to Neasham, approx 10km. Spotted a Dipper, Kingfisher, Buzzard and 2 Jay's. Also found plenty of Snowdrops, some Velvet Shank fungi (?) and Otter 💩

Couldn't spot the RC Pochard at Preston Park this am but they're were 16 Goosanders on the river which was great to see.
Also spotted a male Goldeneye on the river from Bowesfield.
