3-starring knockout tour might be the most soul-sucking endeavor in any one of these games

All my hangups with this game aside, the endgame was SO good. Loved the theming and the villain. I think the ending + credits sequence might be some of my favorite moments in any Mario game period? It all bookends perfectly. I really wish I enjoyed more of what I played but man does it finish strong

Mario & Luigi: Brothership (2024)

I'm really torn on this one. I didn't vibe with the gameplay loop for the first 60% of it. Things finally clicked for me by the 4th sea. There's some peak M&L here that unfortunately gets bogged down by a repetitive structure + poor pacing. Still a good game imo

Shadow Generations (2024)

Peak Modern Sonic. Surpasses the OG Generations imo. Boost gameplay is the best it has ever been. Loved the Frontiers-inspired hub world. Radical Highway Acts 1 & 2 might be some of my favorite levels in the series. Just wish it was longer. More of this please, Sonic Team.

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (2025)

The British have done it again.

My big complaint with this one is that not only can the game railroad you into the ending sequence if you aren't careful (especially going in blind), but it feels like 40% of the items just become available once you get the Screw Attack (last upgrade before the ending). But great game otherwise!

Metroid Fusion (GBA-NSO, 2002)

Heard mixed opinions about this one but I rly enjoyed it. I didn't mind the linearity, & I liked the narrative & horror stuff. The idea of OP Super Metroid Samus stalking you the whole game is awesome. I've already completed Zero Mission and Super, so Returns is next!

Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers (1993)

Rewatch. Timeless classic. Still my favorite W&G film. I'm So Ready for Venegance Most Fowl. Maybe that will top this one for me.

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005)

Rewatch. Still holds up 20 years later. So many good gags. It's criminal that this was the only full-length W&G film for nearly two decades.

Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave (1995)

Rewatch. Tbh the only thing I remembered about this one was the robot dog. Which always freaked me out as a kid. And still kinda does.

A Grand Day Out with Wallace & Gromit (1989)

Wallace & Gromit binge to celebrate the new film! I've never actually seen this one before. Not as funny as the others, but still plenty charming. The moon robot was great.

not running Poke Ball might be a controversial, but I rly value everything else on the deck. 2x Erika is mandatory. 2x X-Speed feels mandatory to get out of bad early game positions + Eggy's retreat cost. Sabrina is too powerful. Need 2 of each Egg for games where you need to get it going fast, etc.
