Of those who took the fork at @dol.gov (about 1 in 20), we can tell you no one wanted to. They're afraid the administration won't hold up their end of the bargain. Some were facing horrible commutes and a lack of childcare. Some were close to retirement. It's not how anyone wanted to go.
