It speaks to a fundamental devaluing of the work of the artist. I was discussing AI & the arts the other day & some reacted that "it's ok because people will still make art because they like to do it". No understanding that the arts can be more than a fun hobby or the impact of art on society.

We are trapped with vile politicians and a media who almost exclusively gives voice to one segment of the population. Copenhagen underlines that the majority are probably not fascists. But our electoral system means that being in the majoirty can be meaningless, so I just don't know.
