Should he have seen the hate coming? Probably. But it's a much bigger issue of trans discrimination in this community and online in general, and putting all of that on Karl's shoulders isn't fair or correct imo.

I think, as a minority myself, criticizing someone for not properly crediting your work as part of an intro to speak about a much larger topic is a good reason. She was only mentioned as part of a story of how Karl found out about Narista, and he even said it wasn't a big deal and didn't care.
