Yes. The Senators who voted for this are complicit. Their vote sustains a system that has already decided healthcare is a privilege, not a right.
They know full well that Republicans have no intention of funding the ACA or addressing the healthcare crisis — yet they chooses pretense over principle.

Thanks for your analysis. Unfortunately, very few people will get this take and understand it because the big story is Democrats folded. They caved. Trump with crow non-stop and MSM will carry his message. It's a huge loss - no one on the street will feel strategic wisdom- we feel BETRAYED.

Or, Schumer was complicit and gave his blessing to those who wanted to vote yes and gave cover to those who felt they needed to vote no.

Senator Shaheen is not confused — she is complicit. Her silence sustains a system that has already decided healthcare is a privilege, not a right.

Shame on you, @hassan.senate.gov Do you think we all marched and canvassed and voted to be sold out by you for a vague promise?

Right before he turned in for the night because he’s getting up to go to work at his federal job in the morning, my husband (who has worked without pay since October 1st) said that your yes vote is utterly demoralizing. As your constituents, we are incredibly disappointed in your choice.

It's the Inside Deal. You're retiring, can you vote for this and give me cover? I want to look good for the millions of small dollar donors while I take care of business for my big donors.
