I wonder what would have happened if we had made the playoffs. I think we would have had a good chance to make the championship game. There is parity in the playoffs. The Spirit almost lost to Racing. This weekend's games could have gone anyway. Who knows?

Live only 20 minutes from current chicago stars stadium and now drive will be over an hour, decided to renew in my support of the team, but not sure how many games i will make due to increased transit time. Will likley bank tickets for future games to share with friends.

3) I think you are being too negative on the Stars. We have done really well since 8/1. I want to see this team under a full season with their new coaches. Also, real concern whether or not Ally re-signs with us. She is the FA to watch as well as Groom. I am assuming we resign Cam soon.

2) I don't now if getting a RB is really a priority with Angel now in the mix and hopefully Kuika back. Tough injuries from that Seattle game. I am thinking Kuika could possibly play now but why play her when the season is almost over.

A couple comments on the pod: 1) Wood was injured so Halie took her place. Since being healthy, Wood has been on the bench so she seems to be second to Naeher.

The game was poorly officiated in general. There were two potential handballs against Utah including one right before the first goal and there was no stoppage or var check. There were obvious flops that ended up in yellow cards and a questionable pk call.

What about all the positives? We finally have a really good defensive midfield- maitaine was the perfect fit for this team, we have players back from injuries including Jenna bike and Ava cook. We get a Goal from a set piece. Yes. We are still a project but there are some positives out there.

I don't think we need mal to be successful. We just need the players on the field to connect and hopefully this preseason has provided that opportunity.
