For QMK is a license issue. Also most of the boards were not designed to be wireless so battery consumption is really high. ZMK is built on top of Zephyr and targets NRF boards for wireless which are pretty good power consumption wise. :) FAK and Kirei are in hiatus but also super cool proyects.
