My main issue is just app support. I don't wanna have to go through hoops to get my Windows apps working. I just want them to install and work immediately, especially with games with anti-cheats or games that just don't have Linux versions in general.

don't get me wrong, criticisms are totally valid and can be part of how things improve. but also i don't think yelling angrily about how something many people hold dear is a "joke of an OS" is really getting us anywhere, yknow
