Laura Palmer is personal trauma, mshaped by the collective trauma and complicitness that surrounds her in the town of #TwinPeaks. Judy is a reaction to and reflection of our collective trauma—ours, the viewers’. Coop’s just trying to figure it all out, and it clicks once he’s integrated his shadow.

@markfrost.bsky.social I loved how The Return touched on current issues, and what makes me postpone writing my script is thinking I need immense understanding on stories and current issues. Should storytelling be developed through intuition or the technicalities of story, systems, & events?
