@auguryhowl.bsky.social I told Miriam about those weird dreams I’ve been having about the upsidedown city. She said she’s been having some like that too. Even though she doesn’t use her oracle ability anymore, she looked really disturbed, and couldn’t be sure anymore if they were just normal dreams.

I like most root vegetables, but I think parsnips might be my favorite… They’re very versatile, and their flavor can change a lot depending on how you prepare them. I tried something new with them tonight. If you stir fry them just right, they gain a nice texture.

I think…if I wasn’t familiar with the multiverse, and knowing some people have the ability to teleport, I would’ve thought I just saw a ghost.

Whenever Metal says he has plans for us, it could mean anything from spoiling me all day to attempted auto theft for fun (until I tell him that isn’t allowed). You never know with him.

Everyone’s talking about Halloween... I want to go trick-or-treating again this year. I don’t really want the candy, I just think it’s fun.

Things have been going okay, but I keep having these strange dreams lately. It’s always about the same thing…Something like an upside down city. It leaves me with an uneasy feeling every time, even though nothing happens.

I was introduced to vinyl records first, but I’ve started to collect CDs, too. I think I’m going to move them to the other house. A stereo system and CD rack feels like it would suit it more. Nostalgic somehow, in a different way, just like the rest of it.

I think it’s marvelous that so many planets naturally created so many edible things. That must be obvious, since how else would life evolve, but I’m referring to things like apples. When you think about it, someone had to discover them, then have the idea and courage to cut and try one.

I must sound like such a spoiled rich kid out of context. No, I just work too much in high-stakes scenarios that have substantial danger pay. It’s very weird to think I started from a tiny characterless white room. I think that might be part of why I collect so much stuff.

These vacation periods always feel like such a chore until I’m in the middle of one. I like having the time to be pampered. I’m very lucky so many people care for me in different ways.

The organization in charge of that last mission got in some serious legal trouble. Extra compensation came through for it because of all of the damages. That’s…a big number.

I get to visit my dad at his village today. We’re going to tend to some of the gardening and the mausoleum. Luckily my nail appointment isn’t until next week. I think I still would’ve gone even if I already had them done, though. It’s rare for us to both be free at the same time.

Forced vacations aren’t always so bad. I was invited to get my nails done professionally...that’s something I haven’t had the chance to do before. I usually just paint them myself to hide the discolored ones.

I’m still really tired, and a little sore. I think this was a good lesson not to continue a job when I’m down a work partner, no matter how I feel about it in the moment.

New phone. I can barely tell it’s different. I think the only way to tell is that the screen protector isn’t chipped in the corner.

I’ve been very busy with missions. Hardly any downtime for taking photographs. I’ve got another one coming up, by special request. It sounds a lot more intense than the others recently.
