100% this. I am surrounded by this in KS1
Many of us actually working in the phase will tell you that the pressure from Ofsted etc. to get too formal too early is totally mismatched with the kind of developmental needs we are seeing. You can't just magic children into developing more quickly than is possible or appropriate for them.
