I normally devour books, but my anxiety has been so high, I can only deal with my favorite comfort reads right now. I've had the same ebooks/audiobooks on repeat for most of the year.

My 17 yr old w/dyslexia is *devastated* that he will never be able to read all the books his brother and I read simply because he reads slowly. But he reads deeply and thoughtfully and asks the best questions when we discuss books. That's better than any performative number.

Cats thrive on routine. An automatic feeder is a lifesaver, if you want to sleep in occasionally without an angry cat trying to force you out of bed.
My cat loves her special backpack. Look for one with mesh for good air flow, not the plastic bubble windows.
