I do the brown sugar thing too. If my garden is producing I sometimes leave the stems on my tomato’s while simmering the sauce. Intense flavour, remove when about half way through cooking time.

In the Land of Oz we call it a “parmy” and top it with lots of different shit, some good, some not so good 😂😂
