How do you know if you’re moving your body in safe ways? Yoga asana is the best way to develop awareness of your body, but if it isn’t paired with directed breathing and intentional focus, all you’re doing is poses. You must involve your mind with your body.

Age does not equal pain. Yes, we use our bodies, they can get tired and you’re going to experience limitations as a result. No, you don’t have to live with pain. Yoga can reduce your risk for damage, injury and pain by helping you pay attention to how you feel. #practiceyogaveryday
