After a 50hr week I was too wired to sleep and missed parkrun :( but I’ve spent today planting blueberry trees, drinking good coffee and trying to unwind.

That glorious day of no fixed date during the Xmas break has arrived… the meat eaters have got bored of poncing around in the kitchen and fucked off… veggie roast dinner day!!!!! With all the trimmings and oven space for trays of roast carrots and yorkies!

Since Dec 20th I’ve been the first up every day for child, family, dog… tomorrow morning is my first/possibly only lay in so you’d better believe I’m up late chilling, drinking and doodling.

Phone is 5yrs old and starting to break. Having to face the pain of phone shopping but holy moly they’re all so expensive now! Any pointers on make model gratefully received.

Kiddo has a friend visiting for a sleepover. The house is full of the sound of them giggling and setting the world to rights. Very nice way to start the holidays.

Three solid days of power and central heating has finally warmed the house up. But I don’t think the dog will ever go back to sleeping in her own bed again. Uhoh
