I hate 3rd act breakups so much. Like with a burning passion. I’m giving 1 stars to otherwise solid romances and 2 stars for arcs reviews. But I did love the bisexual rep, the hockey aspect, and the grumpy x sunshine vibes. #belatedarcreview #booksky

The only good thing about Texas was hitting up the indie bookstores and seeing family. The Plot Twist book bar, Patchouli Joe’s, Recycled Books (all in Denton), and Talking Animal Books (Grapevine). I didn’t have room for books but I got a small haul

I get that it’s fae but I COMPLETELY forgot Jas was 17 and Hale was 21. He can drink legally in our world and she’d be a high school senior. I just can’t.
There were bits that were too damn repetitive. Some information gathering/ exchanges could have been a paragraph instead of 3 whole chapters.2⭐️

Arcs are giving me life lately. This classic has a graphic novel releasing in March. It’s so freaking pretty and I love that the artist depicted Ged has a POC like Ursula originally intended. 5 stars. Thank you @harpercollins.bsky.social for the ARC 💕

I’m feeling picky… I like to bring a “fresh” book with me to my silent book club group. My current reads are all high fantasy but I’m feeling like I need a bit of romance to mix it up. I’m torn between these two. Any suggestions on one over the other?
