tbh i never used social media as a central tool to keep up with friends. Only joined FB in 2012 bc of music and visibility - same with Insta (only joined 2019/20)

some very valid points in there … tbh most of my IRL friends arent even on social media anymore… and if they are, I hardly communicate with them over those platforms (there are a few exceptions ….)

i dont mind so much tbh but Mastodon has a better follower/reach rate … in my experience. i wish bluesky would open to the fediverse. thats the future imho.
