Dave Trott frames the story of author William Golding finding a title for "Lord of the Flies" as a strong case that we as creatives need to understand that our job is impact. If not Monteith's suggestion to change the title and Pringle's genius, the world would have ignored "Strangers from Within".

What a wonderful walkthrough of Figma slots. The demo of expanding beyond the component and block level to a general layout level was mind-blowing. I'm starting to realize I was thinking of slots in a much more basic way than I should have been.

Now that I have launched my personal portfolio again, it's been fun to update all of my social profiles with the link. I imagine everyone seeing my updates has had this reaction.

I'm really loving @ghost.org but one challenge I'm having is setting up a simple contact form. I wish there was a native solution, as Ghost is already setup to work with Mailgun. My best attempt has been Fromspree, as it allows me to control my code. Anyone have a better solution?

For anyone thinking about launching their own Bluesky PDS, it's an incredibly easy process! I am happy to say that I was up and running within mere minutes after reading the documentation. It will be nice to own my Bluesky channel content through this direct integration.
