Finished this spice rack to pull the kitchen renovation to a close. Used the last of the walnut and red oak planks. The walnut had knots, but I kinda like how I centered them on either cheek.

Realized I never posted the lamination I did of my upper cabinets last month. I had a bunch of leftover 1/8" thick planks of red oak from the counter, so I voted them into panels and passionate my melamine upper cabinets. I think it came out pretty good!

Perfect album from when I was 16? Well that was 2000 and for me it's gotta be The Avalanches 'Since I Left You'. Realistically, it's Wilco's 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot', which was recorded in 2000 but released later, but both were pivotal for me and changed how I view music.

WuTang was incredible last night. One of the best shows I've seen. They brought out Lauryn Hill for a couple songs, LL Cool J for one, had ODB's son, Young Dirty Bastard, for his parts. RTJ even killed the opening.
