If a single official is needed to coordinate national security for a 9/11 level threat, perhaps a Homeland Security czar activated only for such an emergency with a limited duration (1-2 years at most) and with a vote by Congress. The term could be extended for another term by Congressional vote.

Even better, abolish Homeland Security altogether and return everything to the pre-Homeland Security Act of 2002.

They can suffer the consequences of their traitorous bigotry. Maybe they’ll wise up but I highly doubt it.

My only hesitation in supporting a shutdown is the pain it will cause many who do not support the Trump regime. As for the MAGATS who do support him and are, at this moment, actively licking his boots and swallowing all the shit Trump and Noem are feeding them, I am beyond caring…
January 25, 2026 at 6:05 PM
…send out Social Security checks, etc., that is on his own fascistic, dementia-addled self.
January 25, 2026 at 5:30 PM
SHUT! IT! DOWN! What the hell does it matter at this point? Trump rules by caveat anyway. Guaranteed that, by a stroke of his stubby little crayon, Trump would make sure his goon squad and any other bootlickers he favors would get paid and the courts would allow it. So, if he chooses not to…

The very same.
November 25, 2025 at 2:09 PM
Meaning, they could’ve just extended the subsidies in the first place and avoided the entire shutdown. 🤡
November 24, 2025 at 5:24 PM
So the same subsidies that Senate Democrats shut down the government over to try to get a one year extension of that Trump and Republicans refused to even negotiate over? Those subsidies?
November 24, 2025 at 5:24 PM
What a disingenuous bastard. 🤬 We know that prices always go up. The problem is how fast they go up (the rate of inflation) compared to the rate of increase in wages. Does the GOP support raising the minimum wage and/or indexing it to inflation? No, no they do not. 🤡

“You’ll find out very soon…as soon as I figure out what I meant while talking out of my ass and how I can make a buck out of it.”

Trump’s usual playbook. He’ll TACO back to the status quo before his latest tariff tantrum and then proclaim a bigly win in fixing the problem he created.
October 29, 2025 at 3:55 PM
Congratulations!
October 25, 2025 at 2:08 PM
‘Bout time. 😬🤣

It wasn’t a battle, it was a massacre. 🤬

And by “savvy investments” they mean blatant corruption.
September 20, 2025 at 12:36 AM
Excuse me @newsweek.com, but could you get your lips off Trump’s ass long enough to possibly do some actual journalism and stop printing garbage written by the regime’s propagandists?
September 10, 2025 at 3:38 PM
So will Pete Hegseth choose the free or paid plan for backing up his top secret discussions? 🤔🤡
September 8, 2025 at 5:55 PM
So if a Democrat president were to decide that bank fraud was a national emergency, #scotus would be cool if Federal agents roved through financial districts detaining anyone who looked like a banker or trader: white, nice suit, briefcase? 🤡🤡🤡
September 8, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Big surprise. The conservative partisan hypocritical hacks of the Supreme Court continue to wipe their collective ass with the Constitution. 🤬🤡🤬🤡🤬 #scotus
September 8, 2025 at 4:37 PM
Was a horse head in their bed too subtle for Trump?
September 3, 2025 at 10:56 PM
I would absolutely love to see more #Fallout cooking streams. Gosh I bet a snazzy new gaming laptop would really help with that. 🤔
