My city just got icy cold. My family and I are US Citizens but puertorrican. Many people told us to be at ease…Still my heart feels heavy for many of our friends who are also Latinos. So much uncertainty and anxiety…

I am hospitalized with bad infection. The sweetest Hondurian lady nurse cane and told me I need a EKG as well. Asked me if I am anxious.
I told her yes, as a wife of a federal employee and an American who loves this country; the heck I am stressed.
