both are good, but 6 is very charming and feels better to play (+ more leaders/gamemodes/features etc. to choose from)

I did exactly that the past 2 days and it was a nice suprise. New features are really cool and creative (even though the Ai sucks sometimes and other times it steamrolls you 20+ turns after spawning...)
