I know a big part of the Ontario governments gross under funding that lead collages to rely on international students for funding. And I am not mad at the staff as in the profs pay. But more know the president and the higher ups. There was other ways they could have handled this.

It’s also confusing because the college is also currently contradicting itself. It’s overall a mess for current students and very confusing

2/2. But because of the cut. I can’t apply to the 3rd year anymore. I originally only applied to the 2 year program because I wanted to think about my options and other programs I could go into. Sheridan is topically very flexible and I could have just jumped into the 3rd year. But not anymore.

1/2 posts. So it’s a little complicated. Sheridan offers two VCA programs. But they are basically the same. 1 is 2 years (the one I am in, I am on my 2nd year) and the other is 3 years. Usually if you apply for the 2 year program and finish it you can jump to the 3rd year and everything is fine.

“They” deserve what’s coming?? The only people actually impacted by this is the students. Me, I am a student at Sheridan. They would rather cut 40 programs than take a cut to their pay. They don’t care about the students.

I am a current student at Sheridan, in the VCA program. My third year is getting cut. This “respite” you are talking about is fucking over domestic students. International students were keeping colleges a-float and providing A LOT of funding. Xenophobia has killed my education. Thanks
