They might as well end all the reports because there is nothing good to report. All this last 6 months has done is cause upset to lives. But let’s worry about museum exhibits and ballrooms while citizens are going in debt to buy groceries.

And Newsom isn’t wrong at all—he is simply dishing it back. May seem childish and petty but look at what he is up against—it’s all they understand.

Right now Newsom is doing what none of his counterparts are willing to do—he is speaking up and out and tweeting in caps. He isn’t sitting back fearful to speak up. If his actions provoke change then way to go.
