Yeah the quilting of the blanket took me maybe 3 hours. My mom sews the starquilts and she can finish an entire one in 10-14 hours from scratch. Since it’s satin it took prob an hour or two more bc of cleaning up the fibers and using a zig zag cutter

My mom’s used to sewing with it and I don’t mind quilting on it. I think the biggest problem we face working with satin is when your cutting it, the fibers can be pretty itchy and annoying and they’re gonna go all over your sewing area
