Still working on copying a bunch of Bubblegum Crisis laserdiscs in autistically high quality. Keep finding more things I can do to make them good; Inverse telecine'd w/temporal comb filter looks pretty great. Variable framerate is annoying but necessary (Computer generated titles on either end).

@keithstack.com The main reason that I'd kind of like for bluesky to be federated is that that way, no one like Elon can buy bluesky and unilaterally control the platform. And it allows for less difficult break-aways in the future.
Everyone is swarming to this site because it’s just Twitter without Elon Musk, and the eggheads in charge here keep gushing about adding federation to make this site more like Mastodon, and talking about how the tech will solve the moderation issues.
