My daughter is an electrician, her journey person was a woman. I have started apprenticeships for two women. My daughter has two female apprentices. These women are preferred on knowledgeable job sites because of their attention to detail.
They do have to stand up against misogynistic attitudes.

Alcohol use has permeated our society so deeply that often when I tell someone that I have quit drinking, I often hear (Oh?) I then feel the person is assuming I have a drinking problem. I have started saying "not right now" to much better results.
