The Aurora Agora Market and Residential District Key Descriptors: Nostalgic, a strong sense of deja-vu, eerily familiar mundanity It’s a place that you swear you’ve been before. It looks like the main street of a small town you visited once when you were seven and you always go back to in your mind’s eye. It looks like walking down a street you cannot name in the middle of the night. It looks like a city center as you remember it, but it’s never quite real, but never not real either. It looks like a movie, a memory, a time you were younger, a time you wish had come to pass. It’s a place that looks like it belongs somewhere else. Maybe that’s why it has so many hotels. Maybe that’s why it’s made up of so many liminal memories.
