An update to the #SwitchBot Air purifier table fixed an annoying Matter issue. I am now able to control the speed in Home Assistant via Matter! This makes me love the air purifier even more than I already did.

Just watched the BambuLab H2D reveal video on YouTube. It's super Apple-ish. The way the speakers talk to each other, the transitions between scenes and set design. If Apple ever made a 3D printer (please don't) this is what their reveal video would be like. I like it.

A recent list of expanded Home Assistant support for SwitchBot products seems to confirm an April release of the unannounced Hub 3. It also appears it will feature a motion sensor in addition to the temp/hum and lux sensor already present on the Hub 2

It sucks that Samsung made SmartThings tokens limited (I still don't like this) but it's cool that they have made an official integration with Home Assistant!

Samsung is preparing a small update to the SmartThings app bringing suggestable actions to the top of the home page - maybe this is the "Bespoke AI" that Samsung recently teased in the app?

Good news. The IKEA Ormanäs LED strip is compatible with Philips Hue.
Con: The LEDs are spaced fairly far apart.
Pro: They are about as far apart as the Hue strip's LEDs but at a fraction of the price.

My Philips Hue motion sensors have been rock solid for over 5 years on SmartThings. Now one of them have started going offline and refusing to come back even after fresh batteries. The Zigbee gods can be cruel.

The fact that this is how the Google Nest Hub displays temperature sensors - that CANNOT control the temperature only measure it - is kinda embarrassing for Google I think. I hope the pressure from Apple's upcoming smart home display will push things in the right direction

I'm ready to replace all of my Aeotec contact sensors with ikea Parasoll sensors 😎 Now I'll just need to add them to #homeassistant
