On 30 January, I will be giving a talk at the University of Upper Alsace in Mulhouse.

If you are anywhere in the vicinity, please stop by :-)

(and if you are at a different institution and would be interested in a similar talk - or a talk on one of my other research areas - get in touch).

And then, all of a sudden, #AttEA was all over and I was out walking and attending with a nonhuman animal.

Thank you so much to all speakers and participants, student assistants, and to my co-organizer Friederike Zenker, for helping to make it everything we dreamt it could be.

Tomorrow, at #esse2024 in Lausanne (online, too), I will present my paper with a #vegan literary studies perspective on #cannibalism, as part of the "Food and Eating in Anglophone Literature and Travel Writing" panel.

Will the #englishstudies community be ready for that? Time will tell, I guess.
