I love getting emails at like 8/9 at night because it's like why the fuck are yall working right now as you're in the same timezone or an hour ahead? Now the 2 am one I'm fine with as the people are based in South Africa so it's like morning and during their work hours.

Went into the office to pick up a new computer so working here for the morning and I'm glad there aren't many people here as I am sitting here crying because of a grief wave hitting.

Fingers crossed Mei does well overnight and get to come home tomorrow. She still having some trouble so they aren't ready to release her yet.

Mei made it through surgery and is now recovering. Hopefully she will be able to come home tomorrow.

So in chatting after book club I found out one of the women who works at the bookshop, her daughter lives in the same apartment complex as me. She really wants us to meet and I think it's just the sweetest thing.
