I enjoyed staining and building this Ashford Kiwi spinning wheel from a kit. Learning how to spin has been a bit more of a challenge! They say practice makes perfect. In this case practice makes really ugly yarn. 😬🧶

I got this photo flying over Girdwood #Alaska. The waterway cutting through the middle of the picture is called the Turnagain Arm. ✈️🏔️❄️
A snow covered mountain range with a dark colored valley in the center of the picture. In the valley is a town called Girdwood. Girdwood is a fun place to visit for amazing views of the mountains and the Turnagain Arm, hiking, skiing, spa day, and gold panning. The resort in Girdwood, called Alyeska, has a restaurant called 7 Glaciers. I’m not sure, but I think several of those glaciers, that you can see just a bit of from the restaurant, are the big snowy areas of the mountains in the foreground of this picture.

This little fuseworks craft kiln introduced me to the joy of melting glass. I don’t use it much anymore because it only has one setting - hot, hot, hot!
