It will only tell you that something is sold or installed and nothing about the size or how/when the HP are used.

The heatpump in the picture from Denmark is one unit installed and provides heating for 100 000 people.

We can learn that it's advantageus to start with a strong grid, low electricity price and well-insulated buildings.

But units sold is kind of a stupid measurement anyway.

The grid in the Nordics is dimensioned for homes to use electric convectors as heating and the reason governments encouraged heat pumps was to reduce electricity consumption.
