River tubing was super fun and relaxing, exactly what we needed. Still had to get out and push a few times, but was great. Saw many eagles and many many tiny gaspereaux swimming around and jumping.

Was thwarted in my attempt to go to physio by absolute shitshow traffic (50 minute cab ride! Normally 15) but salvaging the trip with the $3 harbour cruise.

Jessie is still pretending she's too grown up to play with babby (although there have been some friendly interactions and grooming behaviour!) but Victor is extremely happy to be Taco's trampoline.

Taco has been verrrrrry good about being cooped up in his isolation room but roughly 48 hours in we've had our first jailbreak. Got him rounded up quickly this time at least.

Since Frankie died, Jessie and Victor have been okay, but it's become increasingly clear that Jessie needs a baby to give 75 baths a day and snuggle. So today on our way home from our anniversary getaway, we adopted a kitten. Came with the name Taco, TBD if he's getting renamed.

Since Frankie died, Jessie and Victor have been okay, but it's become increasingly clear that Jessie needs a baby to give 75 baths a day and snuggle. So today on our way home from our anniversary getaway, we adopted a kitten. Came with the name Taco, TBD if he's getting renamed.
Oooof. We haven't installed our a/c yet and have been dealing with a heat dome this week. 30 degrees in the bedroom overnight!
