🌱 A bouquet I picked and delivered to my mom yesterday. Some of my earliest memories are of her showing me flowers in my great-grandma’s backyard ❤️

🌱 Imagine my exciting upon discovering another variegated water Lily bloom this season... Much smaller section this time, but man, she sure is something!
A pink-apricot water Lily bloom that is about 1/8 yellow. The yellow stops and the pink-apricot starts in a very dramatic vertical line along two of the petals. There are other water lilies in bloom and lots of variegated lily pads in the background.

I had the most fun playing with froglets and salamanders yesterday. They are so cute!!

I’ve been keeping tabs on this yellow garden spider I see on my daily walk and I noticed what I think might be an egg sac, although it looks significantly different than the Google images that pop up when I search for reference photos. Please feel free to educate me if you know!

🌱 Last evening’s harvest basket made me happy.

🌱 I don’t know how rare this is, but one of my apricot-peach water lilies decided to be 1/4 yellow. First time seeing this variation for me and I’m so amazed by it.
A water Lily that is mostly apricot-peach with pink base petals and long bright yellow stamen. About 1/4 of the flower is yellow, which stands out from the rest of the flower. There are two petals that have a distinct, drastic line where the color switches from peach to pale yellow. There are many lily pads around it and both the flower and the lily pads are covered in water droplets.
