Snagged some packs of the Trails TCG, enough to make a full deck. pretty fun cards! I’m not really into TCGs in general so ill probably just get either a nice lil deck box or binder to put these in, maybe try and snag a couple more packs if I see any around but I’m very happy with these!

Sometimes you are at work and decide to just take a swing and download some free app and give pixel art a whirl cause why not?? Whos stopping you?? I don’t have a fancy drawing set up but I got a phone with a touchscreen and a dream!

Saw Friendship today. Absolute blast, highly recommend for anyone who likes any of Tim Robinson’s work. The soap scene and the toad scene will stick with me forever lmfao

And finally KoToR2, a game I’ve started many times and never finished. Start of this game so wild, on one hand you get such good things like Kreia and the sith ambush, on the other you have to trudge through waves and waves of robot fights to escape to the second planet where stuff really kicks off

To break in my emulation set up on my steam deck, I’m playing Xenogears, which has been on my list to play for years and I just never got around to it. Real glad to be checking it out, especially knowing that its concept started as a FF7 that never was

Been working my way through Trails in the Sky SC as well, still in the first chapter and just savoring the ride. Estelle continues to be a killer protagonist, and the way the game can pull the save and so many NPCs can react to things you did(or didn’t) do in FC is just so fun when it happens

The one I’ve finished is Clair Obscur, blasted through it over about 5 days while sick and had an incredible time. Hooked me from the opening minutes and had me enthralled til I rolled credits. My girl Sciel especially sticks with me, what an incredibly realized character

Also haven’t watch much TV on my own, but my partner and I recently wrapped up on Matlock 2025. Fun, kinda schmaltzy procedural. Kathy Bates is a treasure, and the rest of the cast are all such fun. Had a nice finale that both wrapped the first overarching mystery while laying down the tracks for S2

Only movie I’ve seen recently is Sinners. Theres not much I can say that hasn’t been said a thousand times already but goddamn, what an absolute masterpiece. Eagerly awaiting both the 4K disc release and the Vinyl soundtrack releases cause goddamn. A+ across the board

While theres a remake on the horizon, I started the Trails series starting with the first Trails in the Sky. Having a blast so far, the vibes are immaculate, the gameplay is fun, the writing a fantastic, and the sprites are so good, love their whole aesthetic. So excited to dive into the series!

And then last but never least, Absolute Wonder Woman 5. Goddamn. Best ongoing comic right now. Everyone even remotely interested in comics meeds to be reading this absolute masterclass in how to use comics to their fullest. Just beautiful and engaging all around. Read it!!!

Then next up was Radiant Black 31, a really fun start to a new era of the comic! Very excited with the threads they have laid down for us here! And as fun as the big event was, I’m glad to get back to the more regular run status for the comic

Last marvel one, Ult Spidey 14! Dang!!! Another great issue! Continues to be just a solid, good series that uses the time gimmick of these runs the best

Alright, time for comic book thoughts since I picked up my pull today! First up was Black Panther 13, unfortunately my least favorite of the New Ultimate Universe. Feels like it struggles with the time gimmick the most and has a lot of interesting ideas that we just don’t get to sit with and explore
