Imagine someone hacking into all the self driving cars and controlling them for causing maximum damage all at once. Enough self driving cars and it would be a society ending event.

Remote updated EVs, all maliciously controlled to do a battery thermal runaway would be pretty bad too.

Also wages are lower, so businesses expenses are lower.

Sounds like Finland needs to change its laws.

Efter et nederlag sagde NY borgmester Ed Koch:

“The people have spoken... and they must be punished.”

Det er punishment fasen vi er i.

I wonder how far Russia plans to take this. One thing is disrupting a few major airports, another thing would be attacking something more important like the electrical grid.

Get ready for more potholes then, see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_...

A 20% heavier vehicle results in about double the damage to the road.

The advantages mentioned is also available in a structural brick homes, like is popular in north western Europe. Except, that printing may be a lot cheaper than structural brick.

This could only be the beginning. The printed houses I have seen, still look kind of traditional. I would think that printing would open the possibility of new designs. E.g. rounding the top of the windows avoiding the need for steel reinforcement above the window (no engineer, so may be talking bs)

It seems to me, that the point of hybrid attacks is more to scare people than the actually damage. Thus, are we not helping Russia, if we make a giant deal about hybrid attacks?

It seems that the best response, is to hurt Russia by sending more military aid to Ukraine.

Is that not a two way street? Sure, more facilities to be taken out, but also more facilities to protect.

There was no forced contraception campaign. There was a contraception campaign, with local support, which unfortunately did involve some cases where there were not consent.

As vile as those cases of forced contraception was, it do make the whole thing a "forced contraception campaign".

While not what Trump intended, could this turn out to be a good thing? Instead of relying on state created information, they will rely on multiple private sources of information.

And lets face it, Trump may be blatant about cooking the books, but he is hardly the first to massage the figures.

I could be wrong, but I doubt F-150s would pass Japanese crash tests. In Japan, like Europe, they do not only test how occupants of cars fare in a crash, but also how people outside the car fares - like pedestrians or people in other cars.

Maybe, but many people thought the same in trial one and that got a hung jury.

Article suggestion: Write an article about what it does to cities when everybody is driving. Especially when everybody is driving large SUV/trucks. How much space is taken by roads, by off street parking, noise, freeways cutting through the city, accidents, the downtown city-scape it creates ...

Why do The Dispatch choose nominal and not PPP graphs? The graph seems to reflect the changes in exchange rates more than it tells a story about development in wealth.

En ting er at gratis aviser bruger click-bait, men det som virkelig gør mig arrig, er når man har betalt for en online avis og man så stadigvæk får click-bait - jeg opsagde mit Berlingske abonnement, da det gik helt over gavind med click-bait der.

I could imagine that Musk is honestly a free trader. It fits with the techno optimism thinking.

However, it would also be good for Musk' businesses, to have a big row with the Trump admin. Musk has become the lightning rod for everybody who hates the Trump admin, and a row may alleviate that.
