Today was a day that will be funny in the future. And I’m really grateful for friends who found a way to make it a little funny today.

When I left my ex 3+ years ago, I was emotionally beaten down and half convinced I wasn’t going to be able to make it work. I purchased necessities in advance. Amongst a long list of things that included a year of food and medication for my dog, I bought my (sensory friendly) favorite dish soap.

My grandmother died last week and the funeral was yesterday. Easily the weirdest funeral I’ve ever been to.
