I got a childhood dream in the mail today. Still cannot quite believe it.

This is not a cosplay for cons, i kinda bought this for photoshoots only 😂 but we will see.

Gonna have to style the wig and add some accessoires but so far i love it so so much!!

Through the magic of me not taking enough photos we can skip a few steps.

Painted the heads, collars and details on the dresses.
The dresses and arms are all glued to the collars. Ears are glued into the heads.

Now they're just missing hair.
And I also might shorten the white dress some more.

Now this is the part where you can learn from my mistakes.

Basically everything will eat through styrofoam.

Do not. Use spraycans. On unsealed styrofoam.

Well, I did.
So I got to fix those nice holes with more foamclay on both heads (not pictured).

The ears and arms are made from foamclay with some wire inside.
Again going for the most lightweight options.

I also made the face details with foamclay - that worked surprisingly well.
Inbetween I always checked everything together to see if anything needed adjustment

The base of these girlies is just a styrofoam ball glued to a plastic cup.
If it works it's not stupid ✌️

I made the collars from foam and didn't glue them yet.
Also sketched on the faces to get some idea of everything.

First step was sewing their little dresses.
I just eyeballed the patterns (as I always do) and went for it.

I had planned to reinforce the dresses with iron-on interfacing for stability. Because I'm lazy I just did some french-seams for the sides and those did the job pretty well too.

The two of em usually float next to Rina so I was brainstorming a way to make them as lightweight as possible (hence no 3D print) to have them "float" next to my head on a wire or similar support sitting on my back.

I played around with makeup and did some freckles today, they don't show that well on the photos but I was very happy with how I looked irl 🙏
Plus the fit was so comfy 🤩
