I understand the rules. I'm saying that he's ignoring laws and defying court orders now (including illegally removing other officials) and we should not expect him to play by these rules either.

Great in theory, but 1. He's not following the law now, and 2. He'll just say he's firing Powell "for cause" because he's not following orders.

I really need people to learn that the Fed is NOT a government agency. It is NOT a part of the Treasury. It does NOT print money. It is the Central Bank of the United States and all of our paychecks go through ACH. 🤷♀️
