I’m wrong - just checked and Aust is part of the Asias. So may well just be 5 countries.

I think Aus, NZ and EN would each have automatic entries as part owners of the Cup, plus the top ranked team from each of the five regions. That makes 8 teams in total. With Aust and NZ both in the Oceania region, there’s no other way for them both to compete otherwise.
