i think youll be fine, and again, dual booting means you still have all your windows stuff. also consider that steamOS and other such things existence has pushed compatibility more. 10 years ago i had ubuntu on my laptop with a wacom tablet and it ran perfectly fine with no issues on my end

beginner friendly windows distros like ubuntu are great options. theres also gaming oriented stuff like cachyOS that are optimized for gaming. can install it on a secondary drive and dual boot into it as a daily driver and fully migrate when you get used to it

herta space station is a phenomenal introduction
belobog is a banger of a first true arc
the luofu is a bit of a step backwards imo
penacony is a great arc and has some of my favorite moments in hsr
amphoreus has a rocky start but having seen it all - INSANELY GOOD, ABSOLUTE PEAK
