The entry barrier to coding is so low nowadays, the skill is in connecting the right tools together and giving good instructions. It is a different form of creativity for sure, but is it less creative?

Sometimes I say things in an ambiguous way on purpose, so people don't understand, just so I can feel more understood if they do. But why not explain it in clear terms in the first place to build a mutual understanding, instead of searching for the understanding that's already there?

Others feelings are not inherently your responsibility. You can take that responsibility, but you don't have to. It's a choice that should be made under consideration, just like the choice of blaming other people for your own feelings. It's a matter of perspective.

Businesses don't even believe that you need tons of experience anymore. Evident by businesses kicking out their most experienced under the pretense of "old dogs don't learn new tricks". It's a scheme to pay lower wages, and it's a very profitable one, but it hurts our people, young and old.
