The General Director of the Data Protection Authority, Eng. Mohamed, held a meeting with the Minister of Ports of Somalia to discuss collaboration between the Authority and the Ministry.

Eng. Mohamed Nur Ali, Managing Director DPA, presented a speech on the importance of data privacy in the development of digital services at #SomNOG7 Conference. He underscored the need for secure data management systems to build trust and ensure the integrity of digital solutions.

Eng. Mohamed Nur Ali, the newly appointed DG of Somalia’s Data Protection Authority, officially assumed office today. The handover, led by Deputy DG Da’ud Abdi Hussein, was attended by Minister Mohamed Mohamud Aden, federal officials, education sector reps, and the Somali Banking Association.
