The party has to be looking at Doug Ford's numbers seriously or they're just blundering. Keeping pp would be a guaranteed way of establishing the Carney decade.

Carney can call an election the moment he's convinced it will get him a stronger mandate. This possibility alone is a good reason to keep an eye on polls.

I will not be surprised if he's replaced in 12 months. Doug Ford or some prominent conservative will get promising polling results and caucus will see PP more and more as an albatross.

Eventually the Conservatives have to win, but after 10 years of losing, they should know what we don't want them to be. A normal Conservative Party of Canada will mean no more cataclysmic elections!

The special ballots are going Liberal. The lead is opening up again! Unless some of the remaining polls give pp more votes than any of the previous ones, he loses. There is no demographic reason to think some of these boxes will do it for him. I'm shocked.
