Yes but the ones who are not like that are outliers. Where are the mass scale libertarian campaigns against MAGAts? The answer is nowhere, because it's not an organized and principled political movement with any weight behind it whatsoever.

But also, it DID stop bullets, if you simply expand your scope outside the US. There have actually been weapons and shipments to Israel intercepted internationally, refused by dock workers etc. So it works.

That's the thing, it's not. It's a clearly defined ideology with clear goals, I don't understand where the notion of "it's too broad and vague" comes from.

(1/2) Couple of things. The monasteries didn't have a monopoly on scribes, independent scribes did exist, it just wasn't a useful job for the common peasant therefore it was mostly relegated to monasteries. Secondly, the monasteries & church weren't a private institution like modern churches.

No, because Daniel penny killed an innocent man, not the CEO of a company who made bank off of denying essential medical care from people. Those two situations are clearly not the same. Not all murders are the same. If Trump's shooter hadn't missed for example, it would be a good thing

It's not looking too bright as they are former al-qaeda, former Islamic state and funded by Turkey which definitely doesn't have noble goals in mind. I personally hope this opens up the way for a more benign government in Syria

I mean if a state is shooting babies in the head and is bombing hospitals and patients and generally regards the group of people which they colonized as "subhuman", shouldn't you expect "better" of that state regardless of your previous opinion of it, once you're informed? It seems natural to me
